Lady Gaga’s French Bulldog Now A Model

coach campaign lady gaga asia kinney french bulldog

We’re firmly in the pro-puppy camp when it comes to fashion ads, which is why we have to say well done to Coach on their new #coachpups campaign. The American luxury brand today announced that their latest ambassador – they have counted Gwyneth Paltrow among official handbag holders – was French Bulldog Asia Kinney AKA Lady Gaga’s pet dog.
Asia, who shares a surname with Gaga’s fianc? Taylor Kinney, made her new career known to the world via the medium of Instagram. Lady Gaga and Coach posted a photo of Asia in model mode, wearing a rather flash necklace while sitting on a faceless model’s lap. There’s a gorgeous purple handbag there as well.

Yahoo! report that the shoot and campaign concept was inspired by Frasier’s Eddie, the best terrier that never won an Emmy. We have to say, we like Coach’s way of thinking. Luxe handbags and cute dogs? As Maria von Trapp would say – these are a few of our favourite things. Now, we’re just wondering if Coach might respond to us tagging them in photos of our own dog with a modelling contract?
