11 blushing high street pieces to make you a fan of pink for spring

11 blushing high street pieces to make you a fan of pink for spring

Think pink is too little-girly? From blush to fuschia, baby to hot, there’s a pink piece to suit everyone

As the first day of springtime approaches (although February may not exactly feel like the seasons have turned), our minds are set on our SS20 wardrobe, and one colour is popping out over all the rest — pink.

Bubblegum. Magenta. Barely-there blushes and firey fuschias have us falling head-over-heels for this romantic shade. While all-black uniforms with the occasional pop of beige may be seen as a failsafe for those who want to appear stylish, what could be more style-savvy than having fun with fashion? Pink is girly, romantic, sappy and childish – all the more reason to wear it with gusto.

For the trend-driven, a blush-toned trapeze dress will be your uniform for the spring-summer months — easy to wear, comfortable and fabulously ethereal without putting in too much effort. Make the most of the continuously cold weather and opt for the many pink knits on the high street at the moment (the chunkier the better) — pair with the black biker boots of the moment and you’re ready.

A pop of hot pink in a hair accessory or a shirt is as welcomed as it ever was, and is perfect for those not quite ready to venture into the pink waters of SS20. But for those who are? Head-to-toe pink perfection is your calling card this year — tonal dressing is going nowhere, and pink is the most fun shade to indulge in.

Ready to fall in love with your new look? Here are the high street pieces we’re loving in pink.
