Three amazing beauty brands you might not have heard of

Three amazing beauty brands you might not have heard of

New beauty to love? Yes, please. From a cream blush to rival Cloud Paint and an award-worthy body lotion to a haircare brand with skin awareness, these are three to keep an eye on…

There’s nothing a beauty obsessive like myself loves more than finding new brands to trial and (hopefully) love. The three below I have only tried one product each from so far, but I’m excited already to try more.

Some of these only ship to the US, but I always use that An Post Address Pal service and it works fine – just remember any hidden tax or costs like that before you order.

SEEN Beauty

Harvard trained dermatologist Dr Iris Rubin noticed her clients were breaking out after salon visits, and decided to fix the problem by creating a haircare brand that was kind to, and good for, the skin. SEEN was her brainchild, and their blow-out creme, $24, is absolutely gorgeous.

Katie Jane Hughes recommended this brand. Need I say more? I think not. They call themselves ‘non-toxic’, which I’ll admit, I take issue with normally (every EU sold beauty brand is legally required not to have any toxins) but because it’s a US brand I’ll tolerate it. The blush, BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Balm in Golden Hour is my new go-to. It’s $20.

Nécessaire Beauty

Founded by Nick Axelrod, former Into the Gloss editorial director and close friend and business partner of Glossier’s Emily Weiss, Nécessaire is a brand like no other; they even have a Sex Gel product for, you guessed it – sex. My pick of their products was their hero, the body lotion, $25, and I adore it.
