Cocoon your skin ahead of long winter walks with these mega-moisture-giving beauty products
Winter is coming, and with it comes dull, dry skin. Pair that with the only fun coming your way from now until who knows when – a brisk, cold walk – and you have the recipe for chapping, cracking, flaking, sore skin in need of nourishment.

Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturiser, €69

Avène Hydrance Aqua Gel, €22.50
As the name suggests, this is a water-gel texture, packed with Avène’s Thermal Spring Water. It can be worn in a light layer during the day or a thicker layer at night as a sleeping mask that’ll make you wake up looking like you’ve had eight hours sleep, even if you haven’t. It is mega hydrating and soothing, but it has actives too: it contains an antioxidant to protect the skin from free radicals, plus it detoxifies and decongests your skin. Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, €72.58
The Rich Cream from Augustinus Bader’s cult creams is for normal to dry skin and The Cream is for more combination and oily types. Both are equally effective but have different textures.
