L’Occitane launches new ‘natural lip’ make-up collection

One of our favourite skincare brands, L’Occitane, has just launched its first ‘natural lip’ make-up collection. With everything from lip scrubs to lipsticks, here’s everything you need to know about the luscious, fruity products…

You’ve probably noticed by now that Team IMAGE is obsessed with all things beauty. When it comes to new launches, we’re always eager to try things out. Not only that, we’re particularly interested in looking at the ingredients.

For that reason, we were excited to learn L’Occitane – one of our favourite, trusted skincare brands – has launched its very own make-up line.

The new, natural lip make-up collection by L’Occitane is infused with fruits, vegetables and herbs from Provence and the Mediterranean Basin – ensuring all of the products are full of botanical goodness.

With everything from Vitamin E to citrus extracts, these lip products are great for our pouts (and smell good too). Here we look at the three distinct elements of the luscious, fruity collection…

L’Occitane Delicious Lip Scrubs

€16 from L’Occitane

The first step in achieving L’Occitane’s dreamy, smooth-lip look is preparation. The trusted French brand has launched three luscious lip scrubs.

Available in Marmalade Kiss, Raspberry Crush and Fabulous Fig, these Delicious Lip Scrubs, €16, are infused with nourishing Vitamin E. Each one gently exfoliates your lips so that they’re smooth and ready for colour.

Simply apply to dry lips, gently massage in, then rinse off with warm water.

L’Occitane Delicious Balms

€22 from L’Occitane

Next up is L’Occitane’s natural and tinted lip balm collection. These balms are the perfect choice for anyone who wants to soften and hydrate their lips without the full pigmentation of a lipstick.

The Delicious Multi-Balm, €22, can be used as a primer to prep the lips for the Fruity Lipstick, as a balm to soften the lips any time of the day, or as a rich mask to pamper the lips overnight. With thanks to botanical ingredients such as pomelo, carrot and pomegranate, this balm moisturises, protects and delivers long-lasting nourishment.

What’s more, it comes in a variety of tints too. Carrot Fizz, Miss Grenadine, Pink Calisson and Gimme Mauve offer the same creamy texture for just €22, with the added bonus of summery shades and scents.

L’Occitane Fruity Lipsticks

€20 from L’Occitane

Last, but by no means least, L’Occitane has launched this new lipstick collection. Fruity Lipsticks, €20, offer instant hydration and colourful lips in eight summery shades; from neutral nudes to vibrant pink.

All of the lipsticks are enriched with Vitamin E and fruit extracts, and what’s more, they’re vegetarian-friendly and silicone-free.

L'Occitane make-up collection

Not only that, but these lipsticks give proven results. Over a span of four weeks, L’Occitane asked 30 women to trial them; and at the end, 100% of the women agreed their lips were more hydrated and enhanced with a natural glow. Plus, each said their lips were left feeling soft and supple.

What more could anyone want?

Available from stores nationwide and at loccitane.com/make-up from May 2019.
