The Business of Beauty Awards 2019 are coming… here’s everything you need to know

Affectionately dubbed ‘Ireland’s Beauty Oscars’,  the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards 2019 are fast approaching. Want to join us on the night? Here’s everything you need to know about the beauty event of the year…

What is the Business of Beauty Awards?

Now in its sixth year, IMAGE’s Business of Beauty Awards (nicknamed ‘BOB’ at IMAGE HQ) recognises the best beauty professionals in the industry. Whether it’s hair, skin, makeup or front-of-house, everyone on the shortlist is a true master of their trade.

This year’s ceremony, which is sponsored by Boots, Instax, Easilocks, Bare by Vogue Williams and Flormar, gives Ireland’s top beauty professionals a chance to let their hair down and celebrate their achievements in style.

You won’t want to miss this.

The shortlist and voting

For weeks, our expert panel of business and beauty experts agonised over the shortlist, narrowing down the very best names in the beauty industry.

Their final pick was revealed on January 24, and voting is open NOW.

What to expect this year?

As always, BOB will be a luxury affair. Taking place on March 10 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, guests can enjoy a delicious cocktail reception from 6:30 pm.

Then, everyone will be guided through to the dining room, where they can indulge in dinner and dancing.

Darren Kennedy will play host on the night, announcing special surprises, gifts and treats; as well as awards for Ireland’s brightest stars in hair, beauty and aesthetics.

A gift bag will be provided to all guests on departure – and let’s not forget the legendary after-party.
