Created by Tonya Kidd-Beggs and born out of a deeply personal journey, STORIES Parfums is quietly redefining the fragrance space and how customers wear and think about scent.

Certain smells stop us in our tracks.

It could be a whiff of salt air that brings you back to childhood summers on the beach. The comforting warmth of skin and wool on a winter morning, or a hint of a perfume that reminds you of your mother.

Scent has a unique ability to bypass logic and speak directly to emotion, and it’s this intimate relationship between fragrance and memory that sits at the heart of STORIES Parfums, an Irish-founded niche fragrance house quietly redefining how we wear scent.

Created by Tonya Kidd-Beggs, STORIES Parfums didn’t come from a trend forecast or a need to create the next ‘most-wanted’ scent. For Tonya, it was a deeply personal journey. After navigating periods of change and self-reflection, Tonya turned to scent as a way of reconnecting with herself and ultimately, as a way of helping others do the same. What emerged is a brand that is led by her intuition, guided by her emotion and strengthened by the belief that fragrance can be a form of self-expression when words can’t do the talking.

Unlike mass-market perfumes designed to smell the same on everyone, STORIES Parfums embraces individuality. Each fragrance is developed by Tonya in Grasse, France, the historic heartland of fine perfumery, allowing the compositions to unfold differently on every wearer. “No two people experience scent in the same way,” the philosophy suggests. Instead of dictating how you should feel, the fragrances act as companions, evolving with your skin chemistry.

This approach coincides with a growing audience of women who are stepping away from hype-driven beauty and seeking products with more depth. Fragrance becomes less about appearance and the impression you make when you walk through the door. Nowadays, women are more in tune with personal rituals that ground and empower them; the use of perfume is a part of those routines.

Meanwhile, STORIES Parfums extends beyond its Eau de Parfum range into thoughtfully designed collections that encourage layering and exploration. A botanical Hand & Body range supports more everyday fragrance traditions, while the brand’s innovative candle trio is composed like fine fragrance, transforming home spaces through layered notes which continue to change and shift as they burn.

Sustainability and integrity are not afterthoughts here. They are in every decision, from conscious production choices to the desire to educate customers about how fragrance works. This educational ethos reflects a wider shift in luxury that has been happening behind the scenes. There is a move away from excess and towards intention.

This is why STORIES Parfums is especially compelling in its Irish perspective. In a global industry often dominated by legacy French or Italian houses, the brand offers a distinctly modern Irish voice by speaking to a generation of women who are redefining beauty.

Rather than chasing trends or grand statements, STORIES Parfums occupies a different space in modern beauty. It pays attention to how a scent moves with you throughout the day, how it settles on the skin, and how it can quietly anchor moments of routine. All of this is made complete with the brand’s intuitive approach, considered sustainability and a clear Irish point of view.

These are scents chosen to be your signature by being worn close and revisited often, and of course, by every once in a while, stopping you in your tracks.
