Ariana Grande’s make-up artist used this €4.95 eyeliner for her new music video

Ariana Grande’s new music video for her song Break up with your girlfriend, I’m bored, has already raked in over 65 million views on YouTube. While fans have been getting hooked on the music, they (and we) have also gotten hooked on her eyeliner.

According to the singer’s make-up artist Rokael Lizama, the cat-like look can be achieved in four easy steps. Not only that, he uses an affordable, Irish-owned product to do it.

In the video, which is currently trending at number one, Ariana wears her signature strong liner look, created using Carter Beauty by Marissa’s €4.95 hero product.

The Supreme Gel Liner, with its creamy texture and jet black pigments, has been hailed a game-changer. Not only is it easy to use, but its stay-power is also second to none.

How to nail the look

1. “First, trace out your eyeliner with a brown/taupe eyeshadow and liner brush to create a guideline and allow yourself to see how dramatic you want it to be,” says Rokael.

2. “Next, with a damp, square make-up sponge (soaked in make-up remover), clean up the sides of the liner with the corners of the sponge by pulling towards the back of your face (to make sure they are even and crisp)”.

3. “With your Carter Beauty by Marissa Carter Supreme Gel Liner and the angled liner brush – trace the shape you created with eyeshadow and cover the areas with the cream liner.”

4. Lastly, Rokael says, “Grab your damp make-up sponge and clean up the edges for a perfect, crisp eyeliner.”

Available from pharmacies and selected Penneys stores
