I have never been so delighted to get rid of the Christmas clutter as I was this year. Although I love a gorgeous bauble, the feeling of getting your house back and how much cleaner and tidier it feels brings me so much joy!
My husband Spencer knows me very well and bought me two beautiful armchairs for Christmas, I am deep in the throes of doing up my new house so these were greatly appreciated.
I have a million ideas running through my head for a beautiful space and I’m like a magpie when it comes to anything interiors so I want to show you some of my favourite pieces and inspiration I have found online.
Pastels and stripes always pull my eye to them, I find pastels so soothing but also really chic. I keep changing my mind on what I want to do with my daughter’s room because although it will be hers, I also want to use it for guests if I need to. I love the idea of mint and blush pink with a hint of a stripe of course.
One of my favourite sites to find amazing pieces is 1st dibs, I spend a lot of time putting stuff in my basket and never buying it but everyone loves a bit of window shopping. I spotted these bedside tables a while ago and keep finding myself going back for a look.

I have no real need for a new bed but for some reason, I always find myself in the bed section. I still love window shopping for beds! These are some of my favourites.

They are just a few of my favourite things! I think for next month’s column I will concentrate on paints and wallpapers as hopefully, that is what I’ll be doing with my new place!
