No Good Nick: Melissa Joan Hart is back in a brand new Netflix sitcom

Melissa Joan Hart, star of the hit nineties’ series Sabrina the Teenage Witch, is back with a brand new show. Starring alongside Sean Astin (the man behind Sam in The Lord of the Rings trilogy), Melissa plays the role of Liz Thompson in No Good Nick.

The series has a classic sitcom feel, and with a PG rating, it’s suitable for all the family – young and old.

Earlier today, it made its Netflix debut.

What’s it about?

No Good Nick follows the Thomspon family; an American family of four who are faced with a surprise visitor.

When 13-year-old Nicole (also known as Nick) arrives on their doorstep, claiming to be a distant relative, the Thompsons must decide whether or not to let her stay.

Unbeknownst to them, Nick is attempting to infiltrate their family and seek revenge (for what, we’ve yet to find out). Will she succeed with her plan? Or will Nick learn to forgive?

Do we rate it?

Admittedly, the opening scenes of No Good Nick have an air of cheesiness about them. Some of the punchlines are predictable, but that doesn’t make it bad.

The show is entertaining, and if you enjoy family-friendly series such as Full House, Frasier or Fresh Prince of Bel Air, it’s definitely worth a watch.
