Fluent Irish... In Brazil?

Well, this certainly puts us to shame. A Brazilian woman who found herself interested in the Irish language, around the same time she was listening to a lot of Irish music, decided to take it upon herself to learn her c?pla focail, and now has basically fluent Irish.

How many of us can say that? Is it because it was all but beaten into us at school so we instantly disliked having to learn it? Has she had great success because she was learning on her own terms, without having to do it for exams? Or, is this just a particularly linguistically gifted young woman? Probably a combination of all three.

Oddly enough, Natalia Danzmann's English is a little weaker than her Gaeilge, so she says herself.

Watch the video to be amazed by her fluent Irish skills.
