7 garden furniture sets from Ikea that are actually in stock right now

These garden sets will allow you to catch the weather while it’s fine

When good weather finally hits Ireland (and it is rare), all we want to do is get outside. Although beer gardens are still off the table for another few weeks, between hill trails, beach trips and walks around the block, we’re definitely enjoying the Irish summer much more than we ever have.

Our own back gardens though, may be taking a bit of a beating. At the beginning of lockdown, we were both blessed with glorious weather and cursed that no furniture shop was open for business. Ordering patio furniture became a chore rather than an excitement, and once the weather returned to gloom, we resigned ourselves to waiting til next year… again.

But, lo and behold, the good weather seems to have made another appearance! Met Éireann is forecasting warm and humid conditions for the next week, with some cloud (boo) but some sunshine too (yay). In light of this development, we’ve had a look at Ikea’s website, and surprisingly, there is a fair amount of garden furniture sets in stock at the moment. Some are available to buy from the Dublin store, and some can be ordered for delivery, with Ikea aiming to deliver within 14 days — just in time for another heatwave to roll around.
