Green is the fashion pack’s colour of choice for SS19. Here’s how to wear it well

Pantone may have signalled coral as the colour of SS19, but the fashion elite seem to be smitten with green. It’s the shade that signifies rebirth and regrowth so why wouldn’t they love it? It has inherent feel-good properties.

It’s a shade I’ve always been drawn to because it seems to instantly brighten my complexion. I especially like wearing it in the early months of the year when the days can look a little bleak (just peak outside now…). It’s the perfect foil to sad-looking skies and bloated black clouds. Feel like going green then? Scroll down for some style inspiration.

How chic is this butter-soft green leather dress? I’d never layer a leather coat over a leather dress, but this incredibly stylish woman totally pulls it off. I love the pop of yellow introduced by her animal print shoes.

How to wear head-to-toe green to the office? This is how. A chic mint shirt worn with an earthy A-line midi adds up to chic office attire.

A pleat-fest in pillar-box green. I love the fluidity of this dress and how statement this shade of green is. It would bring a smile to anyone’s face.

I love this shade of teal. It feels very fresh when reimagined in the guise of an oversized leather jacket.

This velvet suit in earthy pine is to-die-for. I love how it’s been styled with white “naked” sandals and a white T-shirt for a cool, contemporary look.
