This Instagram account is a must-follow for working from home outfit inspiration

In need of some working from home outfit inspiration? A new Instagram account will open your eyes to all of the sartorial possibilities

I love when social media comes together and celebrates something which may seem quite benign to many.

This week it's our working from home outfits.

Currently, a huge proportion of the population is in the precarious position of working from their humble abodes. Let me tell you it isn't easy. It is utterly unsettling to find yourself staring at a wall for one minute and then suddenly it is two hours later and you have nothing done.

I have been struggling. The world has tipped and I'm falling with it. However, one way in which I am surviving is through my clothes.

Over the last two weeks, I promised myself to dress up at least once and each time I did my productivity levels soared, as did my mood. The term 'dressing up' has different connotations for each of us. Some may see it as a dress and heels, others may see it as putting on a pair of socks with your slippers.

WFH fits

The Instagram page @wfhfits is celebrating working from home in all its sartorial glory. The vibe is very LA but with humour. The clothing is glam in the form of The Vampire's Wife dresses and a mix of casual Fridays with crocs and tracksuit bottoms on the menu.

It's a celebration of personal style and the quirks which define us. We are all so different and our clothes are a reflection of that. And now we are seeing the truth of our fashion souls. When the world is normal, we dress how we want the world to see.

However, when the world is off-kilter we see our true selves in the mirror. The one we don't show the world that often – and I can't get enough of it.

So people of the world, keep showing us those working from home #ootd's. It's authentic and pure and a ray of positivity as the days grow ever weirder.
