12 OTT sequinned pieces to wear on a night out when this is all over

12 OTT sequinned pieces to wear on a night out when this is all over

Anyone else planning their outfits for the celebrations?

Who knew that all it takes to drag us off the sofa and have us raring for a night out is a global pandemic? Along with everyone else in the world, I too am cursing my past introverted self for cancelling plans and leaving clubs early – how was I to know that that kebab would be my last?

While it’s still unclear how long we will be living under these new measures of self-isolating and social distancing, that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun in planning the celebrations for when they do come to an end. I for one will be wearing every ostentatious piece in my wardrobe at the same time, even if it’s only to have a few pints in the local and then home. No outfit is too extravagant, too OTT – you only get to celebrate the end of a pandemic once (hopefully, anyway).

In my considerable amount of newfound free time, I have been perusing online to find the missing pieces to my party-ready wardrobe, and I’m pleased to report that there are lots of options. Here are 12 of my favourites.
