The hit Australian show that revives the art of correspondence
Women of Letters is the hit Australian literary salon that celebrates the lost art of corresepondence. Providing a pulpit from which writers and aficionados alike can read and discuss letters, speakers are asked by the show’s co-curators Michaela Maguire and Marieke Hardy to respond to A Letter To My Missing Piece for this Dubin show.
The slow and pensive of act of letter writing seems the most appropriate medium through which to analyze that part of you that’s lost, forgotten or simply neglected. Joining the Aussies for one night only will be bestselling author Monica McInerney, Award-winning actress and star of The Commitments and The General, Angeline Ball, Ireland AM anchor and journalist Sinead Desmond, Writer and journalist/playwright Felicity McCall, Poet, playwright and screenwriter Celida DeFreine, Presenter and singer Michele McGrath, and poet, writer and dramaturg Jessica Traynor.
