Superhero Spotted: Henry Cavill Seen in Dublin

Seems like the fine weather over the last week has attracted some finer things to our fair shores as Henry Cavill was spotted at the Bray Groove Festival. Missing his signature beard, the hunky British actor?was instantly recognisable and seemed happy to take pictures with fans as he chilled out on the grounds of Kilruddery House.

We’re not sure if he’s filming or just on holiday, but Cavill is no stranger to Ireland, having lived here while filming The Tudors, before he headed to Hollywood to wear?the famous red cape as Superman in 2011. This came after a series of near-misses, as Stephanie Meyers wanted to cast him as Edward Cullen for the?Twilight series and he lost out on the role of James Bond to Daniel Craig despite having the support of?Casino Royale‘s director Martin Campbell.

The next chance you’ll have to see Cavill in all his?Superman glory?will be when he takes on Ben Affleck’s Batman in next year’s sure-to-be-a-hit?Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

So be on the look-out for the?next few days ladies.
