Ben Affleck Denies Rumours He’s Dating Nanny

Ben Affleck’s highly publicised divorce continues to keep tabloids in business as he’s forced to deny rumours he’s dating his and Jennifer Garner’s former nanny.

The Argo director probably did not envisage his life would become constant headline fodder when he won the Best Screenplay Oscar for Good Will Hunting alongside longtime pal Matt Damon, back when they were both Hollywood babies. However, this is Ben Affleck’s destiny, his North Star determined the moment he and Jennifer Lopez locked eyes and set the portmanteau trend.

This week, Ben has denied he’s dating 28-year-old nanny Christine Ouzounian after US Weekly reported they were an item. Ben split from his wife of ten years, Jennifer Garner, last month. The couple has three children together: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. Christine allegedly looked after the children a few months ago for a short while. In a statement to Page Six, the 42-year-old’s representative has claimed these reports are ?garbage?:

?The story is complete garbage and full of lies. You shouldn’t be able to hide behind ?blind sources? and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time. The tabloid decided to construct stories in order to sell magazines. It’s like story time in kindergarten. It’s shameful and desperate.?

While some reports maintain Affleck is considering legal action,?US Weekly has kept the story online and quote sources who say Ouzounian and Affleck are in constant contact.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner married in 2005. Their marriage seemed strong and the couple kept out of the public eye, raising their children in relative normalcy. However, they announced their intention to divorce the day after their tenth wedding anniversary. Speculation on the couple’s marriage was rampant in recent years, especially after Ben’s Oscars acceptance speech in 2013, when he said to Jennifer, ?I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It’s good. It is work, but it’s the best kind of work and there’s no one I’d rather work with.?
