WATCH: Peter Philips creates Dior's gallic SS18 beauty look

Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior SS18 runway may have been a dedication to French-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle, but the look created backstage was equally artistic.

Peter Philips, creative and image director of Dior Make-up, developed a classically Gallic look with muted brows and a fresh, flawless complexion.

The pièce de résistance?

Expressive 1960s-inspired spider lashes, overloaded and purposely clumpy with Diorshow Pump‘N’Volume mascara, €35, from root to tip on top and bottom lashes, with a youthful emphasis accentuated by black kohl liner imperfectly applied to the lower lid waterline.
