Social Pictures: Our very own New Year, New Home Habits event with Homesense Cork

On Thursday 26 January, team IMAGE hosted an exclusive event dedicated to resetting and restyling your home for the new year.

The most recent event on the ever-expanding IMAGE calendar came in the form of our ‘New Year, New Home Habits’ event in Homesense Cork. An evening dedicated to learning how to style and organise your home from the experts, the event even included a calligraphy workshop with Sarah O’Dea.

As author Francine Jay once said, “Your home is a living space, not a storage space,” and this event was organised with the intention of sharing some top tips on how to create a living space that not only is tidy and organised, but representative of your style as well.

The evening began with bubbles and nibbles before guests heard from interior designer David O’Brien and professional organiser Vera Keohane, as they shared their top tips for styling and organising your home. Once they finished, a question and answer session ensued. The event concluded with a modern calligraphy workshop with calligraphist Sarah O’Dea, where they learned how to create an exquisite, personalised item, perfect for adding a unique stylish touch to your space.

Of course, as with all IMAGE events, the gift bags were a true highlight, containing a €25 Homesense voucher, a personalised item from the Calligraphy workshop, and an issue of IMAGE Interiors magazine. All proceeds made from the event were donated to Enable Ireland.
