Social Pictures: IMAGE Meet the Masters with Method and Madness

Last week, team IMAGE hosted an exclusive event with the next generation of innovative whiskey makers, Method & Madness, that featured whiskey tasting, canapés and stories from the distillery.

IMAGE Editorial Director Dominique McMullan spoke with Method & Madness Distillers Katherine Condon and Eva O’Doherty all about the global Irish whiskey renaissance in Hugh Brown’s Restaurant in Brown Thomas.

When was it?

Thursday 22 September at 6pm

Where was it?

Brown Thomas, Grafton Street – Hugh Brown’s Restaurant, Level 3

Why were we there?

Across an evening of delectable drinks, food and conversation, distillers Katherine Condon and Eva O’Doherty helped those gathered understand the craft and the process behind creating a great whiskey; how to build a career as a female distiller; and the intricacies to look out for when searching for a whiskey you love.

Each attendee received a gift bag that included Malfy Gin tasting bottles, Rathborne candles (travel-size) and an issue of IMAGE magazine.
