We hosted a special IMAGE Business Club event where guests learned how four female founders transformed their side hustles into key contemporary Irish brands.

On Wednesday, October 1, at The Dublin Royal Convention Centre, we hosted an IMAGE Business Club event, where we spoke with a panel of leading female businesswomen who converted ideas that started as a side-hustle to become the main focus of their work, and now key contemporary Irish brands.

Our expert speakers included Loretta Dignam, women’s health advocate and founder of The Menopause Hub; Lyndsey Cavanagh, founder of One Dame Lane; Sofie Rooney, founder of Chimac; and Samantha Forrest, founder of Fussy Food Plates.

Guided by IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris, our speakers opened up about their own entrepreneurial journeys and shared the lessons they’ve learned along the way.

Working across health, fashion, and food, they each shared their unique perspectives, along with tips on how to silence your inner critic, get out of your comfort zone, make the right mistakes, and successfully pursue your passion.

The evening began as always with cocktails provided by Tanqueray Gin and complemented by Poachers Tonic and a chance to network with other IMAGE Business Club peers at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre before soaking in insights on building a solid foundation and growing your brand.

Afterwards, attendees departed with a luxury gift bag from Neutrogena.
