On February 18, the IMAGE Business Club Live kicked off its 2026 series with an evening focused on sharpening pitching and presentation skills. Here’s a closer look at the event.

IMAGE was delighted to recently host its first Business Club event of 2026 – Present with Power: Sharpen your Message & Strengthen Your Impact.

The evening started strong with refreshing gin and tonics, courtesy of Poachers Drinks and Tanqueray Gin. The drinks and conversations were flowing before our attendees got settled in to hone their pitching and presentation skills in our first workshop and panel of the year.

Over the course of the evening, we heard from Rowan Manahan, The Presenter Mentor, who has worked with CEOs, broadcasters, entertainers and business founders to get their message on point with confidence, before joining a panel discussion with executive coach Fiona Buckley and Belle Brush founder (and 2025 IMAGE PwC Young Businesswoman of the Year) Nancy Costello, moderated by IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris.

Fiona has extensive experience working with Irish businesswomen on work behaviour and communication, while Nancy’s Belle Brush was the best-selling hairbrush on Ireland’s TikTok Shop in 2025, as a result of her regular live sessions. Both shared tips on how they have found their own voice and presenting style, and how they use it to memorable advantage.

We brought a fresh approach to our format by incorporating a mid-event speed networking session, providing our attendees with the opportunity to try out Rowan’s pitching tips in a casual, relaxed environment.

Attendees departed ready to put their new skills into practise, with a gorgeous gift bag, courtesy of Max Benjamin, featuring a sample of their delicious Orange Blossom fragrance just in time for spring.

Keep an eye out for our next Business Club Live, taking place regionally in The Radisson RED, Galway on Thursday, March 19. We’ll also be returning to Dublin on April 9.
