3 Body Sprays We Should All Be Using In Summer

3 Body Sprays We Should All Be Using In Summer

Remember when you were 12 and the body spray aisle in Boots was so packed you had to push and shove humans aside to nab the So..? scent you wanted? Body spray is traditionally associated with pubescent memories such as this, and it was a distinctly 90s beauty trend. However, as someone who still was a fan of the Impulse sprays (no shame) well into their twenties, I’ve always had an odd affiliation with body scents. Maybe it ties into my obsession with perfumes, but I like spritzing?a light scent to the skin that isn’t as heavy as a perfume. And, in, case you hadn’t heard, body spray is no longer just for the kids; it’s making a comeback. Big name brands such as Tom Ford and & Other Stories have created lighter, more sophisticated fragrances in fresh scents (and very chic packaging) that linger on the skin and feel fancier than a regular deodorant. They can be worn anytime, and at festivals, they are your new beauty BFF.

THE BODY SHOP ATLAS MOUNTAIN ROSE FRAGRANCE MIST, ?14.50

If you’re looking to give skin a zing, this is a rose-petal’scent with a?light undercurrent of berry and spice, making it perfect for warm, sunny evenings.

& OTHER STORIES FIG FICTION BODY MIST, ?15

One for first thing in the morning, this revitalising scent instantly awakens the skin with its currant berries and freshness of bamboo and wild fig.

TOM FORD NEROLI PORTOFINO ALL OVER BODY SPRAY, ?52

This one is pricey, but it is your holiday scent bottled. With its crisp citrus oils, floral notes and amber undertones, one spray and you’ll be back on that coastal walk or lingering by the water’s edge on the beach.
