This new family room in a 5-star Dublin hotel is making us want to book a city staycation

Planning a family break to Dublin? Look no further than the Conrad Hotel in the heart of the city, which has just opened a brand new family room that has something for everyone.

Two things you want when you’re travelling with children, are a hotel in a convenient location, and enough space so you’re not cramped up together – causing unnecessary stress.

The five-star Conrad Hotel’s new family room offers both, and plenty more to boot.

Located in Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin’s city centre, the hotel is on the doorstep of some of the capital’s most exciting and child-friendly amenities, including the National Concert Hall, St Stephen’s Green Park, the Little Museum of Dublin, and is a stone’s throw from Grafton Street, Dublin’s premier shopping district.

The new family room itself has everything you’d expect from a luxurious hotel – without the five-star price tag.

The large interconnecting king and twin bedrooms afford you the luxury of space to avoid any late-night sibling quarrels.

After a long day of sightseeing in the city, the whole family can curl up in the comfy beds to watch a film on the 48-inch TVs, or enjoy the complimentary Wi-Fi, while mum and dad enjoy a drink from the Nespresso machine, included in the room.

The hotel offers sweet touches, such as a welcome amenity for the little ones on arrival, and a turndown treat of cookies and milk before bed.

If you’re travelling with babies, the Conrad can provide cots, as well as a Baby Kit, consisting of milk for the room, a bottle warmer, baby bathtub, and the famous Conrad bear to ensure a sound night’s sleep.

And just in case you thought the hotel hadn’t thought of everything – it has! It’s never been more convenient to travel as a family, with children under 12 eating for free at the hotel’s restaurant, The Coburg, where there is a special healthy children’s menu that doesn’t skimp on taste. The chefs have worked hard to create a nutritious child-friendly menu your kids will love, and there’s even a baby bowl option.

A winter getaway with the family to Dublin’s fair city never sounded so tempting…

Family room rates start at €571 per room per night, for two adults and two children under 12 years of age. This rate includes breakfast. For more information see here
