What is radiofrequency microneedling?

Radiofrequency microneedling is an advanced skin treatment that merges two gold-standard technologies: microneedling and radiofrequency energy. Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, while radiofrequency delivers focused heat into the deeper layers of the dermis. How is it different from regular microneedling?

Traditional microneedling works by mechanically creating microchannels in the skin, prompting it to repair and renew itself. How long before you notice results?

Morpheus8 treatments are usually done in a series of 3-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Often, clients start seeing noticeable results after just one treatment. The full effects of Morpheus8 treatments can take up to 6 months to appear. During your consultation, we will create a tailored programme for you. One of the best things about Morpheus 8 is that results are cumulative, which means that they get better with each treatment.

What to expect on the day?

You will have numbing cream applied for approximately 60 minutes before the procedure. The procedure can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes, depending on the size of the areas that are being treated. As with any aesthetic procedure, everyone’s perception of discomfort is different but we can vary both the depth and intensity for your individual tolerance.

After the procedure, you will be red and the skin can be puffy in the treated areas. The initial redness usually subsides very quickly (mostly within a few hours) and for 3-5 days following the procedure, you may feel your skin is dry, has a rough texture or maybe swollen.
