Party season bows that say ‘I am the gift’

Embrace the festive spirit and wrap yourself up with a bow this Christmas.

If sequins and shiny tinfoil trousers are too flashy for your taste, then a more demure hair bow is just the way to dress up your festive wardrobe this season. Even the design world has been loving this trend with everyone from Prada to our own Simone Rocha incorporating the underrated accessory into their catwalk looks.

Available in just about every fabric and pattern you can think of – from crushed velvet to satin to polka dot and diamonte – they’re best worn with tousled hair in a ponytail or half-up style, though anything goes really… Sandy Liang dotted her models’ hair with mini ribbons all over while Rocha often favours them as undereye embellishments.

However you wear yours, they certainly make a statement.
