JW Anderson drops a colourful new highstreet collection with Uniqlo this week

The spring collection between Uniqlo and fashion stalwart JW Anderson brings 1970s shapes with floral motifs, with pieces ranging from €3.90 to €69.90.

Spring 2021 has seen so many big fashion houses joining forces with highstreet collabs. From Simone Rocha’s sell-out collection with H&M to Erdem’s denim and floral run with size-inclusive brand Universal Standard, we have been able to get our designer fix at highstreet prices.

This week it’s the turn of eclectic fashion darling JW Anderson to drop their latest French/Japanese brand Uniqlo. Known of their stellar basics and block colours, the new collection has a hint of that JW Anderson whimsy in it too, with dainty floral details and 1970s shapes.

Dreaming of a time when we could all get outside again and socialise, Anderson says he wanted to also “incorporate a feeling of craft, as it’s very important to me.” Light and airy, the collection is all about breathable cotton, light linens and floaty shapes.

We’ve got our eyes on the matching linen piece, especially the Out of Africa-esque shorts and shirt. Here are a few pieces that are definitely going in our basket tomorrow when the collection lands onsite. Check out the full lookbook here
