Hailey Bieber shared her lipliner hack for natural fuller lips

As the ‘clean look’ beauty trend – basically having glowing skin and wearing gold jewellery – continues to trend on social media, with Hailey Bieber being heralded as the face of the trend, the model and soon-to-be make-up mogul behind Rhode Beauty has shared her easy method for natural-looking fuller lips on Instagram.

Make-up maverick, and the man behind the faces of the Kardashians, Mario Dedivanovic, aka Makeup by Mario, recently went viral for the technique on TikTok. Known as the Lip Lift, it takes just two steps. “My Lip Lift technique gives shape to the lips and creates the illusion that they’re fuller and more lifted,” says Mario.

Start off at the Cupid’s bow, and overline just the center of your upper lip and slightly down towards the corners of the mouth. “By slightly overlining the Cupid’s bow area of the upper lip, the shape of the lip looks enhanced and the space between the nose and lip is shortened,” explains Mario on TikTok. Do the same underneath your lower lip, overlining in the bottom center.

Next, slightly overline the center of the bottom lip line, then extend the liner upwards, keeping the liner inside the lip line rather than overlining the corners of the lip, which Mario says drags the mouth down. “When slightly overlining the center of the lower lip line, then drawing the liner upwards towards the outer corners of the mouth, lips get a lifted look.”
