What Amal Wore: Oscar De La Renta

Aha! The reason we tried our best but failed to catch a glimpse of Amal Alamuddin‘s bridal gown is because George made the decision to sell their exclusive snaps to Hello magazine. But we can rest assured he’s going to do something very noble with the proceeds; it is George Clooney after all.

And now to the dress, the stunning off-the-shoulder, lace Oscar De la Renta gown, complete with a veil so pretty we’d almost eat it.

As for George? Well he kept it cool in a black penguin suit.

As Amal has now been officially initiated into the Hollywood high life, we hope her own impressive credentials – she’s an incredibly well educated human rights lawyer – remain at the forefront of all discussion, once the ‘what she wore’ hoopla dies down. Though we must admit, she’s certainly showing herself to be a style icon of epic proportions.
