Was Kendall Jenner Bullied at NYFW?

Was Kendall Jenner Bullied at NYFW?

Apparently the other models are throwing cigarettes in her drinks…

Kendall Jenner is reportedly being bullied by fellow catwalk models at fashion shows. The ill will allegedly stems from her family connections – Kim etc. The word nepotisim is being bandied about. In Touch reports that other models are refusing to play nice with the reality tv star turned model, feeling she is stealing their runway gigs. Practical jokes have taken on a cruel streak with stories of cigarettes being extinguished in the model’s drinks circulating in various outlets.

The 18-year-old has been rapidly building an amazing portfolio. Kendall scored a lot of high profile gigs last February at the A/W New York Fashion Week when she walked for Marc Jacobs, Chanel and Givenchy. She’s also been busy working for print campaigns for the latter label and her swift trajectory has raised a lot of hard-working lesser known eyebrows. She featured in the September issue of US Vogue and was Teen Vogue‘s cover girl that same month. This month she walked for Diane von Furstenberg and Tommy Hilfiger and is one of Fendi’s girls in Milan. There are also a flurry of rumours that point towards Kendall becoming a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Fashionista goes some way towards confirming the bullying reports while talking to industry insiders about how Kendall’s celebrity status isolates her from the girls who jet to every fashion week looking for work, not headlines. Apparently she has more handlers than the average model and was receiving special treatment, something the other models were not okay with. Kendall meanwhile maintains that her fame works against her as she tries to establish a catwalk career. Earlier this summer she told LOVE magazine she banned her older sister Kim from shows so as to distance herself from the E! show, Keeping up with the Kardashians.
