The always-stylish Topshop Boutique’s latest drop is a thing of beauty

The high street often falls into the trap of mass production of the same micro-trends — as much as we may love an oversized collar, or a floral midi dress, seeing the same ones recreated in slightly different iterations in every shop gets to be a little tiresome. Sometimes, we long for originality in high street shopping — a selection of clothing that is fresh, considered and has a taste of the runway, rather than the fast fashion machine.

Thankfully, a few of our favourite shops have invested in such a selection, with dedicated collections to investing in premium quality items. Topshop Boutique, which drops regular premium collections of silk, leather and linen pieces in divine prints and silhouettes, is one of our most anticipated high street drops every season. Collections such as these are invaluable if you want to have a premium look, with a point of difference from the rest of the Instagram set, while still staying within a budget.

This season’s Boutique collection is a subtle nod to springtime, while still retaining the classic lines and staple colours of the winter months. Vibrant splashes of blues and yellows coincide with strong leather pieces that will last a lifetime, and go with any item in your wardrobe.
