The latest drop from Topshop Boutique has landed – discover the best pieces right here

You’re never too old to shop Topshop Boutique. It’s both sophisticated and modern with a strong fashion edge. These are the pieces that have caught my eye from the high-street brand’s latest drop.

This gold suit is a two-step lesson in how to wear metallics during the day without looking like a disco ball. Tailored separates look smart and pulled together, so they balance the boldness of the metallic gold nicely. Paired with a white T-shirt, this outfit actually looks quite understated. I love this look.

Gold suit, €130

Leather trousers are something you’ll have for life, just make sure that you choose the style that suits you best. These leather joggers aren’t for everyone, but they’re incredibly cool and will look so chic with both heels and trainers. They’re the perfect wear-anywhere pants for autumn/winter. Expensive at first glance, but think how long they will last you.

Leather joggers, €295

This shade of yellow will make your autumn/winter wardrobe pop. It’s earthy enough, though, to add depth to pale skin tones and to complement the colours that will dominate your new-season wardrobe, such as navy, burgundy and tan. I love the oversized cuffs, which give this piece a strong design element.

Palm print shirt, €117

A potent colour and a punchy print make this shirt dress an absolute winner. I’m really drawn to this kind of straight-cut silhouette, but if it’s too shapeless for you, simply add a belt. The beauty of a shirtdress is that it’s so versatile. I like to wear mine buttoned right up, but undo the top few buttons if you prefer a loose, more languid vibe.

Squiggle shirt dress, €170

This Boutique coat modernises the classic trench perfectly for the new season by incorporating AW18’s trend for scarf dressing. A subtle but trend-focused detail completely reimagines what would otherwise be a pretty standard-style trench. The pop of print works beautifully with the coat’s tan colourway.

Scarf neck trench coat, €195
