Any connections with Ireland? Been here before? I just finished filming Love Rosie, a film based on the novel Where Rainbows End by Celia Aherne. I filmed in Ireland for two months and had the best time.

Why are you here today? I love Ireland and it is great to have the opportunity to come back this time to work with Kildare Village on the ‘Toast to Chic’ seasonal campaign. My favourite time of year to shop is at Christmas. I love buying presents for my family and friends.

What surprised you the most about your shopping experience in Kildare Village? The variety of shops here and the discounts are incredible. I have done so much shopping! Also, the experience – it is truly a winter wonderland, with twinkling lights, the giant reindeer filled with baubles and fairy lights, and even a real sleigh – you instantly get that warm, magical Christmas feeling!

Favourite outfit/item of clothing from today’s shoot? I bought lots of great things but I think my favourites are the Church’s Yellow pea coat and the Miu Miu cat’s eyes sunglasses from David Clulow.

Do you take a very personal approach to fashion or are you influenced by other things? Yeah- I am influenced by my friends, films, old photographs…but I always dress for myself and wear what is comfortable.

What is your most adored item of clothing you have? A Tara Jarmon coat

Current girl obsession at the moment? Lou Doillon

Have you spotted any upcoming Irish or UK fashion designers that you are following? Simone Rocha …I’m obsessed!

Who is your all-time fashion icon? Marianne Faithful

When you think about the festive season what is the thing you most look forward to? Getting all my Christmas shopping done; I love giving gifts and putting a smile on someone’s face.

What gifts did you find today? A LuLu Guinness Dice Bag for my 14 year old sister.

What is the best gift you could find in your Christmas stocking? A Dictaphone and tripod for my camara
