Shop smart for Ladies Day at Dundrum Town Centre

Shop smart for Ladies Day at Dundrum Town Centre

Shopping for Ladies Day, or for any occasion wear, can be stressful if you don’t take a strategic approach. Basing yourself in an environment that houses everything you’ll need, from headpieces to high heels, makes the task much more enjoyable and far less tiring. Dundrum Town Centre is home to both high-end designers and high-street favourites, iconic Irish labels like Fitzpatricks Shoes and exquisite jewellery brands for when you require something extra-special. The enormous variety of retailers in Dundrum Town Centre makes it easy to create a Ladies Day outfit that’s unique to you.

Modern occasion wear doesn’t have to involve sky-high heels or elaborate headwear. For women who want to feel completely like themselves rather than someone who’s been transformed for the day, flat shoes are a cool and contemporary option. I like to feel comfortable whatever the event, so a fluid dress is a good option, as it offers a relaxed fit but an elegant silhouette. A straw hat or an ornate hair clip tick the headwear box, without straying too far out of your comfort zone; fascinators can be difficult to wear well. Neutrals are also a great way to look understated but modern.
