& Other Stories has some of the best dresses on the high street right now

& Other Stories has some of the best dresses on the high street right now

It’s not a store I shop in very often, but browsing the & Other Stories website today I realised it’s time to pop back in again, as it looks like they’re stocking some of the most amazing dresses on the high street right now. Zara used to be my favourite haunt for dresses but I find now that the prints are too distinctive and too recognisable, so I’m veering away from there for anything other than tailoring. & Other Stories, however, seems to have hit it’s A game in terms of individual, easy-to-wear one pieces. Here are a few of my favourites.

Yes it looks like a summer dress here, but this gorgeous print dress would look fabulous over a polo neck and tights. I love the contrasting prints and these gorgeous shades of red will lead you nicely into the party season.

Duo print midi dress, €89

A subtle print and a fluid silhouette make this an effortless-looking piece. This is a really chic throw-on for every day.

Printed long-sleeve midi dress, €89

This is such an elegant piece. I’d wear it with a black tuxedo jacket and heels during the party season.

Ribbon lace empire dress, €99

With its 1960s vibe (especially when paired with white ankle boots), this houndstooth dress is a cool retro piece made modern by seam detailing on the sleeves which creates a subtle architectural shape.

Houndstooth dress, €69

I love the colour of this dress and the ease with which it can Ben worn day-to-day. Swap sandals for a pair of knee-high boots and throw on a shearling jacket for a cool, retro look.

Oversized frill dress, €89
