Kendall Jenner confirmed tonight that she would be spreading her modelling wings – her Victoria Secret wings, to be exact. This is major news for the young reality star as she has collaborated with major fashion houses in the past – Chanel, Dior, etc. – however, now that she’ll be working with the lingerie giant, this is undoubtedly her biggest gig yet. Jenner will be in supermodel company as some of the biggest names in the industry have walked the Victoria Secret runway previously, including:?Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.
The 20-year-old confirmed the news this evening, posting the following to her Instagram account:
The best birthday present EVER! Always been one of my biggest dreams to be on this catwalk. @victoriassecret ‘s newest recruits. Oh and I get to do it with my best friend,? she wrote.
Coincidently, fellow model and one of Jenner’s BFF’s Gigi Hadid broke similar news?last week. Hadid expressed similar delight when her role in the show confirmed on Friday evening. Did she put in a good word for her pal? The rumour mill has gone into overdrive amid the possibility, but as Jenner is one of the most popular names in the industry at the moment, it won’t do the brand any harm to have her on board.
Jenner, who celebrated her 20th birthday on Monday with family members Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Kylie, ?will wear the lingerie line’s sexiest nightwear,? according to E! News.
