Swit swoo. See how Taylor Swift, Diane Kruger, Cara Delevigne and Sam Smith spruced up for the annual fashion awards.
Last night saw the ELLE Style Awards makes its trademark sartorial splash, with attendees such as designer Roksanda Ilincic and actresses Gwendoline Christie, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Lindsay Lohan coming out to shine.
The British magazine’s celebration of fashion and culture is a staple of the fashion calendar and made sure all eyes remained on London in the hazy afterglow of Fashion Week.
Cara Delevingne looked stunning in a striking black gown while fellow model, and winner of Model of the Year, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley went for dramatic black also. Cara had plenty to celebrate after her win for Breakthrough Actress. Her film?Face of an Angel, based loosely on the Amanda Knox trial, hits cinemas next month.
Taylor Swift wore a daring green Julien MacDonald dress and was presented with her award for Woman of the Year by fellow musician Sam Smith, who was wearing Prada. Sam continued his winning run by scooping Musician of the Year. Our favourite win on the night, however much we adore Sam Smith and Taylor, has to be Manolo Blahnik for his Lifetime Achievement award.
