Gabrielle Luksaite: A week in my wardrobe

Gabrielle Luksaite: A week in my wardrobe

by Gabrielle Luksaite
11th Feb 2024

Jewellery designer, Gabrielle Luksaite, has a keen eye for fashion and loves building her outfits around unique pieces. Inspired by Danish streetstyle, she’s drawn to colourful fabrics in feminine silhouettes and expertly mixes high street and designer pieces for a look that’s all her own. Here she shares a week in her (very enviable!) wardrobe.

MONDAY

This is a classic Gabby outfit. Heading into the office today and on these days, I like to dress up that little bit more as my WFH outfits are not the most exciting. My wardrobe is definitely not the ideal ‘corporate’ wardrobe but you will never catch me in an all-black outfit in the office. Even though I work in a fancy office, I still want to have my own style and show people that work outfits don’t have to be boring. Today I’m wearing this grey blazer from Zara, a skirt from Stine Goya and my metallic blue bag is from Cos.

TUESDAY

This gilet is probably the most treasured item in my wardrobe. It’s the shearling gilet by Isabel Marant and it is simply perfect, I have been wearing it throughout every season so this was definitely a great purchase. I also love co-ords, they’re easy to style and save me lots of time. This one is from H&M and I like to wear it oversized – pretty much like everything else.

WEDNESDAY

We’re in Copenhagen today – my favourite fashion city. This is where most of my inspiration comes from and where I feel like I can wear anything I want. It’s all about colour in this city and I have brought out my brightest clothing for the occasion. This pink wool coat is from a limited collection in Zara, the colour got me. I’m also wearing a satin baby pink Rixo skirt underneath which I paired with the same Cos bag, Ganni x New Balance collaboration shoes and my own brand gabsluk necklace. I remember feeling amazing in this outfit and that’s what clothing is all about for me.

THURSDAY

It’s very cold today so I’m layering up. Midi skirts and blazers are always my go-to combination. I’ve styled this grey Zara blazer with my boyfriend’s Acne Studios mohair sweater (I try to steal as much of his clothes as I can because he has the most incredible wardrobe). I’m also wearing a satin skirt from NA-KD and the same Ganni x NB shoes. I’ve completed the outfit with a classic pair of Ray Bans, my beloved Acne Studios scarf and one of my recent splurges, the Goyard St Louis tote.

FRIDAY

Today is my last day in Copenhagen and I am wearing my most fun outfit. Pink and green are one of my favourite combinations and right now, I’m in full spring mode. My jumper is from American Vintage (they do some gorgeous knits), my skirt is from Zara, my bag is from a Danish brand called Núnoo and my sunglasses are also from a Danish brand. I love finding new brands and designers and Copenhagen is definitely a place for the most amazing concept stores.

SATURDAY

I have one rule on Saturdays – dress up. This is my no-exception day in the week where I spend some time styling and dressing up. I love to go into town and browse around the shops and then have lunch in the Pepper Pot, of course. I’m embracing the maxi skirt trend as I have always loved maxi skirts and especially denim! You can see by this style diary how much I love wearing skirts and dresses. My denim skirt and brown blazer are both from NA-KD. The studded pumps are from Zara, my scarf is vintage and my glasses are Celine

SUNDAY

Sundays are chill days and my base is always a good pair of jeans. These are from Agolde and I’ve sized up for the ultimate baggy look. My jumper is from a Danish brand called American Dreams, I love colourful knits for spring. I’ve accessorised with a vintage bag, a classic pair of Adidas Gazelles, Jimmy Fairly sunglasses and as always, my gabsluk jewellery.
