Cara and Kate for Burberry

By Jeanne Sutton
02nd Sep 2014

The photos are in and the stars have aligned…

This September really belongs to Burberry. The Brit brand already has shoppers eyeing up their monogrammed ponchos and now their anticipated scent, My Burberry, is about to become Autumn’s bucket list beauty buy. The ad campaign is stunning and brings together two of the most iconic modern faces – Kate Moss and her natural heir, Cara Delevingne. The famed photographer Mario Testino shot the duo and the results are sumptuously simple with the two models displaying a natural camaraderie. And now we want a Sandringham Heritage Trench Coat – the brand favourite both models are wearing.

My Burberry is the fashion house’s latest foray into scent, a market they’ve ably cornered with Burberry Brit. This time round Christopher Bailey teamed up with perfumer?Francis Kurkdjian tp create the fragrance, which is ?(i)nspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat, the scent captures the essence of a London garden after the rain.?

Next up for Burberry is London Fashion Week – an event they always excell at – and their expansion into beauty? Today’s Business of Fashion reports on Bailey’s upcoming gamble with make-up artist Wendy Rowe, a trench-inspired palette that sounds promising.
