10 IMAGE-approved bridesmaid dresses for under €150

Brides don’t need to spend an extortionate amount on bridesmaid dresses – we’ve found 10 gúnas for under €150 that are ideal choices for the big day

Remember the movie 27 Dresses?

Katherine Heigl plays Jane, a woman who has been a bridesmaid a total of 27 times. In one particular montage scene, she dresses up in every bridesmaid dress she ever had to wear.

Most of them are horrendous. From cowboy aesthetics to too tight California glam, it seems the brides went out of their way to endure sartorial pain on their maids.

Thankfully, this is only a movie. Brides these days prioritize comfort for their bridesmaids over anything else and want them too to feel good. By the sheer expense of weddings, brides also don’t desire to spend a fortune.

Bridesmaids dresses are rarely worn post-wedding so spending an extortionate amount on an intricate dress does not make sense. The high-street has more than enough beautiful options on hand, and we have found 10 for under €150.

Options

The usual suspects such as Monsoon and ASOS have enough options to dress an entire parish, with the latter coming out on top in terms of choice and inclusivity sizing wise. If you are looking for something a little different, why not go for a shorter hem? Ted Baker and River Island have beautiful smock style dresses which would be perfect for a more relaxed wedding.

And finally, don’t be afraid to look outside of the bridal sections on sites. If you look hard enough, you will see dresses in the mainstream sections of sites such as Mango and Kitri which are perfect bridesmaid options.
