Yet with the news market analysts think we’re about to witness a drop in the price of luxury handbags, this list isn’t all doom and gloom. And even though a Birkin can go for €200,000, you really could be making a financial investment -?Birkin bags increase in value by 14.2% on average. That’s better than’most stocks.

We’ve put together a lust list of the first bags we’d buy if we won the lottery along with the lucky duck celebrities?who own them.

The C?line Luggage Bag may be our favourite bag of all time. While we love the classic white and black C?line, we’d also like the buttery nude, and we’d wish we were cool enough to pull off the micro-bag in fluorescent yellow. Really, we love C?line in every colour and every size.

 

Hermes Birkin Bag, prices range from ?9,000 – €200,000, sold exclusively in Hermes stores.

It turns out that a Birkin bag is a better investment than stocks – the bag has increased in value by 500% in the past 35 years, and unlike gold, has never decreased.The value of current bags in expected to double in the next decade. So really, by spending that kind of money on a bag, you could justify it to yourself that you’d be making a great investment. Ahem.
