Be your own ice-cream sunset with our pastel shopping edit

Pastel? For summer? Groundbreaking, we know, but we will take all the sunset colours we can right now so shop our pastel edit

It might be difficult to believe but we are officially in June (yes, the sixth month of the years!) and summer has officially graced the Emerald Isle with her presence.

Anything above fifteen degrees is summer to us at least and we want to take advantage of it, even if there’s a sprinkling of rain forecast for the next few days. So whether you’ve got lots of plans for the long weekend or your garden and a picnic blanket (and maybe an umbrella) are calling you, a bit of pastel is always an instead mood lifter. I mean, have you ever worn baby pink, pistachio green or canary yellow and felt a chill? Didn’t think so.

That’s it, that’s the evidence. Listen, it may not be science per-say and it may not be exactly factual, but we need summer more than ever right now, so let’s usher her in with clothes instead.
