MONDAY

Monday always feels like the perfect chance to start the week strong and put my best foot forward for whatever comes my way. Every day looks a little different between work and everything else I’ve got going on, so I tend to reach for pieces that are comfortable but still feel put-together enough for any occasion. Today’s look is basically my go-to “uniform” when I’m stuck on what to wear – comfort and versatility with light wash jeans from COS and an ASOS bomber jacket. I added a bit of glam with some leopard sock boots, and of course, accessories to pull it all together. For me, accessories make the outfit. They can completely transform a look. This bright green chain scarf did exactly that. It’s from a Ukrainian designer based in Limerick, Tania from Smetanko Knitwear – an outlandish piece like this just elevates everything instantly.
TUESDAY
Tuesday’s look was a bit of fun! This one was for an after-work dinner with my besties, a much-needed catch-up to celebrate a few different life moments all at once (because somehow months just fly by). I really wanted to create something playful for this look. Over the last 12 months, I’ve fallen back in love with making my own clothes. It’s something I loved when I was younger, then, like so many things, I just forgot about it. Tapping back into that has brought me so much joy, and if anything, it’s made me appreciate my wardrobe even more. So I created this fab pink iridescent three-piece co-ord, made up of a skirt, top and matching neck scarf. To dress it down a little, I paired it with my go-to biker boots from Zara and the most divine clutch bag from another Limerick brand, byReidin. I’m a big fan of supporting local wherever I can, and incorporating unique pieces like this is such an easy way to do it — their bags are just gorgeous!
WEDNESDAY

Wednesday was a desk day, but even then, I like to wear something casual and comfortable, with the option of being ready to head out if anything pops up. I’m a big fan of tonal dressing, and this season I’ve really been leaning into earthy tones. I think it might have something to do with my current hair colour (I do love to change it a lot), I’ve just naturally gravitated towards them. This whole outfit is from Topshop. I’ve been an OG Topshop girl since my early teens, so when it returned to Shaws, especially my local one in Limerick, I was ecstatic! I’ve probably spent a small mortgage there, and I’m not one bit mad about it. My bag was a vintage splurge from my 30th birthday trip to Japan last year. There’s something so special about finding a vintage gem — they have so much character, and it makes owning them feel that bit more meaningful.
THURSDAY

Having a four-day work week meant Thursday was the perfect excuse to dress a little more playfully than usual. I kept the base simple with an oversized Aran-inspired knit and a metallic mini skirt, then added the wow factor with the most insane tartan print tights from another fab Irish brand, Tights Dept, based in Stephens Green. They do the most incredible range of prints and colours that can instantly transform a look. I love that statement tights have become such a big trend this season, possibly thanks to the latest season of Emily in Paris (or Rome, I should say!). Either way, they’re such a fun addition to any outfit, and the bonus is they actually keep you warm… a win-win. My little bestie Bean had to match with a tartan print dog bow because she truly is a style icon!
FRIDAY

I am officially in my wedding season era, and Friday marked the first of many this year! I always find occasion dressing for weddings really tricky. I’m not drawn to the typical wedding guest styles, and anything too fitted is a big no from me because I just don’t feel comfortable in it. So for this one, I decided to challenge my sewing skills and create something I genuinely felt amazing in. I was over the moon with how this leopard print, kaftan-inspired, oversized dress turned out! Super flowy, full-length, with batwing sleeves and brown faux fur cuffs, and most importantly, plenty of room to tuck into the bread basket at dinner without a second thought. It honestly felt so special wearing something I made to such a big occasion. Being able to tell people I created it myself was just the cherry on top.
SATURDAY

The busy week continued with one of my bestie’s 30th birthdays on Saturday night, so a little bit of glam for the local was a must! I’m still fully in my tonal and oversized era, and I was so happy with how this look came together (especially considering I did a very lazy fake tan and only tanned my neck). Balloon pants are everywhere right now. They’re beyond comfortable, and that exaggerated shape just adds instant drama. I paired them with an oversized metallic blazer and leopard heels, a colour palette I always feel myself in. For a final touch of drama, I had to bring out this huge, fluffy clutch bag that I picked up in the recent Parfois sale. Bonus: it doubled as a pillow for anyone who needed a little rest on the night out!
SUNDAY

Let me tell you, I was thrilled to see Sunday roll around, a full day with nothing on but relaxing at home and catching up on life. This oversized, heavier look was all about comfort with just a touch of glam. As always, the accessories were the standout. I paired it with the most gorgeous preloved Louis Vuitton bag from another incredible Irish business, Designer Exchange. Sometimes, all you really need is one amazing accessory to feel completely put together.
