6 Standout Accessories

6 Standout Accessories

Accessories are the easiest way to update your look. The right belt can help you to rethink last year’s denims, while a new necklace can breathe freshness into an old LBD. Here are six?of my?favourites.

Marni is known for its statement accessories. This gorgeous necklace with oversized resin beads will help you to reinvent anything from a white T-shirt to a print dress. It doesn’t come cheap, but if there’s one thing I’m tempted to invest in, it’s statement jewellery. These pieces won’t’suffer wear and tear the way a handbag or a pair of shoes will.

Statement jewellery doesn’t have to be chunky and bold. Finer pieces, such as these beautiful hoop earrings, can make just as strong an impression.

Forget about choosing a handbag with a generic logo, instead opt for a piece?that will say something about your own individual style. Top handle bags have a been a fashion favourite for the past couple of seasons, so this stunning digital print leather bag is right on trend without being slavishly samey.

Accessories elevate your look because they demonstrate a strong attention to detail. The importance of a pair of beautiful leather gloves is something many women overlook, buying cheaper, ill-fitting versions instead that wind up looking shabby after a few wears. These gorgeous pom-pom embellished leather gloves will add style to even the simplest of overcoats.

If you wear glasses, don’t settle for boring generic frames. Your glasses are just as much a part of your accessories armour as your handbag and headscarf.

Forget SS’s tiaras, hairbands?are the new hair adornments for AW. Brilliant for women with short hair who want to mix up their look a little, this striped version from Zara will work beautifully with autumnal colours and prints as well as summer’s nautical vibe.
