Emmys 2021: the best red-carpet looks

Television’s biggest stars hit the Emmys red carpet.

The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards kicked off last night, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer for the first time, with Hollywood gathering to celebrate the best in television. A star-studded lineup of celebrities including Dan and Eugene Levy, Sarah Paulson and Seth Rogen helped present the event while every other celebrity you spent your lockdown tv time with came to honour the best in television over the last year.

Last year the Emmys were a virtual affair, hosted over Zoom due to the pandemic, but this year’s event returned in person with a reinvigorated glitzy red carpet; see Anya Taylor-Joy, Michaela Coel and Kaley Cuoco in neon, electric yellows and Emma Corrin in a Handmaid’s Tale-esque bonnet and claws.

I May Destroy You, The Queen’s Gambit, The Crown, Mare of Easttown and more picked up a host of gongs, but the stars below win our awards for best dressed.

See the best moments here, full list of winners here and best dressed from the Emmys 2021 below.
