We Need This New Urban Decay Palette In Our Lives

We Need This New Urban Decay Palette In Our Lives

Not long ago, we rejoiced at the news that the flawless Gwen Stefani would be teaming up with the legendary, innovative brand that is Urban Decay (UD) and we couldn’t contain our excitement. Not only does this mark the first time the beauty brand have collaborated with a celebrity, but the fact that the celebrity in question is Stefani is even more reason to be intrigued; we’ve admired her flawless beauty (complete with her signature red lip) for years, and UD are known for their world-class products. With all eyes eager to see what the collection will encompass, we’ve finally been given a glimpse of one of its key items: the eyeshadow palette. UD are known for their amazing palettes, and this just might be their most gorgeous one yet.

Wende Zomnir, founding partner and chief creative officer of the brand, debuted the gorgeous UDxGwen eyeshadow palette on Instagram mere days ago, and we want it now.

There are some bold shades to have fun with, but mostly, this appears to be a very wearable, everyday palette, which might surprise a few.

The gorgeous gold hardware with white and black packaging hides 15 eye shadows. There are definitely a few bold shades to play with, but this palette could easily be your everyday go-to. And they all appear to be shades that the singer frequently rocks herself – subtle but with a pop of colour from time to time. If you look closely, you might notice a few familiar shades: Skimp, Stark, and Blackout. All three are from the original UD shadow collection while the 12 other shades appear to be aptly named by Stefani: Bathwater, Blonde, Serious. The palette contains a mixture of both matte and shimmer shades, so you should be able to create a look for any occasion.

UD haven’t released an official price yet, but we’re assuming it will be around the €45 mark. The full Stefani/UD collection will hit stores November 22nd, and while we’re eager to have a gander at the other pieces in the range, we’ll be grabbing this palette first. Form an orderly queue fellow eyeshadow fiends. Stay tuned for more details about the collection as we get them.

Will you be adding this item to your Christmas wish list?
