Inspired by the new generation of non-invasive aesthetic procedures, the range boosts the skin’s health and powers it to compensate the visible effects of collagen and hyaluronic acid loss in ageing skin.

VICHY LIFTACTIV COLLAGEN SPECIALIST DAILY CREAM, €40

This daily use cream works on the visible affects of collagen loss in your skin, reactivating the natural production of collagen over time and replenishing the collagen you lose to correct the visible signs of ageing. After 8 hours, your skin hydration improves by 28%. You can see up to 16% less wrinkles after one month of use, and 24% less wrinkles after two months, as well as a decrease in sagginess and pigmentation. And what magical ingredient is creating these extraordinary benefits? Green peas. Well, to be scientific about it, it’s the peptide proteasyl that is derived from green peas. Peptides are short protein fragments that can target ageing signs from collagen loss and peptide proteasyl fights the degradation of collagen fibers. There’s also the added bonus of Vitamin C and Vichy mineralizing water. But peas! Who knew?

The second product in the range is this mask – your Sunday facial treat that your skin needs after a tough week or a rough Saturday night. If your skin is dull or tired, this mask contains a record 1% concentration of hyaluronic acid in a jar. What does that mean? Inside this little pot is a water gel texture that easily applies on the face with no dripping or mess. It’s created with agave yeast extract, for protection of your natural hyaluronic acid and it has a double dose of natural hyaluronic acid in it– low weight and high weight – which help fight against skin ageing signs and hydrate and replump the skin. After one use of it, your skin feels hydrated and looks smooth and plump. After twelve uses, skin is radiant and skin tone is more even. A must-have for the winter when the skin starts to feel dry and chapped.

The final new launch to the Vichy LiftActiv range is really one to write home about. Did you know that the skin around the eyes is 3 to 5 times thinner than the rest of the skin on your face? Inspired by the microneedling treatments you might be seeing all over social media, Vichy have created overnight eye masks that contain 160 micro-cones of solidified hyaluronic acid of natural origin which penetrate the skin and plump up wrinkles and crow’s feet around the eyes.
