Join us for our event ‘The Hormone Rollercoaster: Solutions for Health & Happiness’
Hormones control everything in our bodies, yet there's so much we don't know about them. Join us for our next event in the IMAGE Longevity series, where we'll learn the foundations of hormone health from the experts – from a medical standpoint to practical take-home tips to help us take back control of our bodies.
Sometimes it’s hard to be a woman… being female and trying to live a happy, productive life can be beyond challenging when dysregulated hormones join the chat. We lose everything from memory function to muscle power while our bodies take on a mind of their own.
Hormones control everything in our bodies – emotional, psychological and physical, working stealthily in a subconscious way that we feel we have little input on. It’s time to take back control. And even if our hormone function seems regular, there’s so much we can be doing to ensure optimal health now and into the future.
Join IMAGE media and our highly qualified guest speakers on Wednesday evening, June 24, for the next event in The Longevity Series, where we focus on hormone health from the medical, as well as the practical, side of experience and solutions.
On the night, we’ll hear from esteemed endocrinologist and best-selling author Dr Mary Ryan about the various issues that affect women, along with some practical lifestyle solutions to improve overall hormone health. She speaks with colour in a way we can all identify, and also find comfort and help.
Dr Ryan will be joined in a subsequent panel discussion by Jennifer Rock, aka The Skin Nerd, who’ll share her own journey overcoming hormone issues, along with advice for great, glowing skin to bolster a wellness journey. Nutritional therapist and co-founder of Gigi Supplements, Jennie Haire, will add to the conversation with insights on healthy eating and supplementation for hormone support and regulation – so much can be done by simply getting your diet right.
The evening at the Conrad Hotel, Earlsfort Terrace, will be a landmark one for any woman who’s ever struggled with her body, her energy levels or simply her adherence to self-care. It’s the first step to a better life.

Jenny Haire, Nutritional Therapist and Co-founder of Gigi Supplements

Jenny Haire has had a passion for science/nutrition and business since she was 18. While studying both subjects at UCD, she felt she had to choose one, so she parked the science and began her career in management consulting. After a few years, however, she realised how much she missed the nutrition side of things, so she started studying nutritional therapy part-time.
Feeling she needed to marry her love for business and nutrition, she co-founded her first company, Your Wellness Collective – a health and lifestyle platform specialising in corporate wellness and personalised supplement advice. Following that, she spotted a gap in the market for premium female health-focused supplements, so she set up Gigi Supplements with co-founder Lisa Hughes.
“I see health as the foundation of all other aspects of our lives,” explains Jenny. “If you’re unwell or burnt out, every other area – personal relationships, family and career – takes a hit. We’ve all returned to the speed and intensity of pre-pandemic life, so it’s never been more important to look after your mental and physical health.”
