IMAGE x Amy: Makeup And Skincare She Can’t Live Without

When it comes to beauty, Amy Huberman is passionate about her products. Here, she shares the make-up and skincare items she can’t live without at this time of year.

1 Alpha-H Liquid Gold, €40, OSLO Beauty

A wonder product for an instant pick-me-up for neglected, festivity-indulged skin. This overnight treatment works hard to make you look like you’ve had eight hours? kip while you stay up and binge-watch boxsets. Incredibly obliging!

2 Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, €31

For the wind tunnel/central heating rollercoaster that is the Irish winter. A chapped lip’s best bud.

3 Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Eye Palette, €50

I love mixing up different combinations of this incredibly versatile four-shadow palette. I take it with me anytime I travel, knowing I can use it for a day or nighttime look.

4 Clinique Super City Block SPF 40, €24

Wearing sunblock every day is way easier than transitioning to full vampire and hiding indoors.?It’s just anti-social. This little gem, worn over moisturiser, is also a nifty make-up primer.

5 Organic avocado oil

I love using this as a hair mask. I find coconut oil too heavy and leaves me feeling like a basted turkey. Avocado oil washes out of hair easily, leaving it all swishy. Try Clearspring, €8.25 at nourish.ie, or Nature’s Aid, €11.15 at wholefoods.ie.

6 Pestle & Mortar Superstar Retinol Night Oil, €76

This product from fab Irish company Pestle & Mortar, used twice per week, will give post-party over-30 skin some TLC.

7 Rimmel x Kate Moss Rock ?n? Roll Nude Lipstick, €7.95

This is such a versatile colour on so many skin tones. Soft enough to be worn with a smokey eye or for a subtle lift of peachy warmth with just a lick of mascara.

8 Eve Lom Radiance Perfected Tinted Moisturiser, €50

I was always afraid of tinted moisturiser; like it was one-shade-fits- all pretend make-up. But it was used on me for a job, and I fell in love. It feels like a cloud on your skin, is moisturising, but not shiny looking. Super for when you want to give your skin a little holiday.

9 YSL E et Faux Cils Mascara, €31

If you’ve witnessed enough family drama over Christmas, concentrate on giving all the drama to your lashes in January. Still my favourite for the wow effect.

10 Image Vital C Serum, €67.50, OSLO Beauty

I love the extra boost skin gets from a serum. This one smells so delicious, you might want to lick your own face. Which I wouldn’t try to do in public (again).
